Privacy Policy

Our approach to website enquiries, personal information and your privacy choices.

Effective date:

At SOZO Wellness Center, we respect your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information associated with our website, general enquiries and email communications.

1. Information we collect

We may receive personal information when you submit a website enquiry, contact our team, request an appointment, or sign up for email updates when that option is available.

Website enquiries collect your name, email address, optional phone number, service interest and any optional message you provide. Technical information, such as your IP address and browser or device information, may also be processed when you use the website.

Please do not include medical history, symptoms or other sensitive health information in public website forms. These forms are for general enquiries, not medical consultation or urgent care.

2. How we use your information

We use enquiry information to respond to questions, manage appointment requests and provide customer support. We may also use information to maintain the website, protect it from misuse and improve the visitor experience.

Submitting a general enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails. Permission to contact you about your request is separate from permission to send future email marketing.

3. Email marketing and service providers

When newsletter or lead-magnet signup is enabled, we ask for marketing consent and explain what you are signing up to receive. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those emails or by contacting our privacy team.

Website enquiries are stored in our website database. Automated enquiry routing and email subscriptions are not currently enabled in this version of the website. If enabled, service providers such as Zapier may help route enquiries, and Mailchimp may manage subscribers and email delivery.

We will review this policy when those connections are enabled so it reflects the providers and information flows actually in use.

4. Cookies and advertising tracking

Meta Pixel is not currently installed on this website. We may consider adding it in the future to measure Facebook and Instagram advertising, understand website activity and create advertising audiences.

Before adding advertising tracking, we will update the relevant privacy information and provide notices and choices required by applicable law. A possible future addition does not mean advertising tracking is currently active.

If you interact with us through social media, advertising platforms or another website, that platform’s own privacy and cookie policies also apply to your activity there.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information with trusted service providers that help operate our website, handle enquiries, manage appointments or deliver communications.

If advertising integrations are introduced, we will explain any related information sharing and privacy choices before those tools are enabled. We may also disclose information where required by law.

6. Your privacy choices and requests

Depending on where you live and the laws that apply, you may have the right to request access to your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion or opt out of marketing communications.

Contact our privacy team using the details below to make a request or ask how your information is handled. Any legal recordkeeping requirements may affect what information can be deleted.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to enquiries, providing requested services and meeting applicable legal obligations.

When email marketing is enabled, contacts remain on our marketing list until they unsubscribe. Unsubscribing removes you from the list receiving marketing emails; it does not necessarily delete all information we hold about you. We may retain limited records needed to honor your unsubscribe request or meet legal obligations.

Contact our privacy team to ask about retention or request deletion where applicable. Retention may differ for website enquiries, marketing records and records associated with services you receive.

8. Data security

We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. However, no online platform can be guaranteed completely secure.

Please avoid sending sensitive health information through general website forms. This policy covers website enquiries and communications, not the handling of patient medical records. Contact our privacy team for information about privacy notices applicable to services you receive.

9. Links to other websites

Our website may link to third-party websites, including external stores or social platforms. Their content, security and privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Please review those policies before providing personal information or making a purchase.

10. Children’s privacy

Our website is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the website, contact our privacy team.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our website, services or information practices change. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
